LIFTING

The AS350B2 'Squirrel' has a maximum lifting capacity of 1000kgs up to 5000ft on a standard day. Helicopters are used frequently to provide maintenance on the skifields to the ski lifts, buildings and sewerage scheme.

The Department of Conservation uses the helicopter's lifting capacity to supply work crews with material and equipment in upgrading and maintain walking tracks and bridges.

CHARTER

The helicopter is available for specialist survey work and seats a maximum of six passengers.
