Helicopter Services BOP Ltd has built a reputation on efficiency, safety and local knowledge. From having their own chemical bulk store to purpose built specialist machinery within their own workshop, the company has a strong belief in providing the very best service.

Members of NZAAA, Helicopter Services BOP Ltd are fully accredited with Growsafe Certificates and are fully approved to operate with the chemicals and sprays required for the forestry industry.

Safety is foremost. Experience is the key. Pilots and crew have been with Helicopter Services since its inception. Between them they hold a wealth of experience and specialist knowledge of the industry, product and region.

SPRAYING

Helicopter Services BOP Ltd has its own bulk chemical store and bulk fuel station alongside the helicopter hangar at Taupo Airport. Working in tandem with the helicopter, a truck and trailer unit provides operational support.

LIFTING

The AS350B2 'Squirrel' has a maximum lifting capacity of 1000kgs up to 5000ft on a standard day.

CHARTER

The helicopter is available for specialist survey work and seats a maximum of six passengers.

FIRE CONTROL

Helicopter Services BOP Ltd supports its forestry clients by providing fire control during peak fire months. A pilot is always on-call during these times to provide the helicopter and its fire bucket, which holds up to 1000 litres.

FERTILISER SPREADING

A bulk loading system, accuracy and efficiency makes using a helicopter for fertilising forestry an essential tool.
